(Warren, Ohio, USA / September 2, 2008) Pizza Works, a small chain of pizzerias
in Warren and Hubbard, Ohio, will host their first ever pizza eating contest on
Sunday, September 14, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at their Howland location, 7091 East Market
Street in Warren, Ohio. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Contestants of all ages are invited to compete and win great prizes. Competition is
divided into three age groups: 12 years and younger, 13-20 years, and 21 and up.
Prizes range from $25 and a three-month supply of free pizza, to $200 and an entire
years supply of free pizza.

Bill and Shannon Siwicki, co-owners of Pizza Works, want to support the society and
its goal to find a cure for blood cancers. Shannons employer has an 8-year-old
son, Mikey Dianetti, who was diagnosed with childhood leukemia just days before his
4th birthday. He has since undergone many treatments and completed three years of
chemotherapy. Today Mikey is doing great, thanks in part to the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society and the research they help fund, said Shannon. Ive participated in my
companys Light the Night Walk Team, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societys annual
fundraiser, for the past three years, and this year Im co-captain. My husband and I
now want to raise funds in an even bigger and tastier way.

Shannons employer, Radcom, Inc., is assisting with the event. Bob Dianetti,
president of Radcom said, Shannon and Bill have been huge supporters of my son
through his treatments and the great work of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In
addition, one of our employees was recently diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.
The employee is responding well to treatment and her long-term prognosis is quite
good, largely because of research supported by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
So our whole company is dedicated to making this event a success.

Its unknown how much pizza the Siwickis and Dianettis can consume in one sitting,
but theyd like area residents to see how much they can eat on Sunday, September 14,
at 1:30 p.m. at the Howland Pizza Works. To get a registration form, contact Shannon
at 330-565-5976 or ssiwicki@radcomservices.com; or contact Bill at 330-883-8625 or
bsiwicki@pizza-works.com. To guarantee that you receive a contest t-shirt, register
no later than Sunday, September 7.
